About Lone Chimney Ranch

**Lone Chimney Ranch is awarded ARAC CHAMPION BREEDER OF THE YEAR for 2011.**

Lone Chimney Ranch is located on almost 100 acres in Glencoe, Oklahoma near Stillwater. The beautiful countryside is home to a herd of well kept equines including impeccably bred Arabians. These Arabians are sons and daughters of Flaming Streak+/, Wiking, Monarch AH, No Limite, Chndaka, Sudden Mischief, KA Czubuthan, and of course, Virgule Al Maury.

Paul and Betty Jo Richards moved their operation to Oklahoma several years ago from Sonoma County in California. They have been breeding horses since 1983, and involved in thoroughbred racing... the farm is home to their Secretariat granddaughter who is 24. The farm has 5 Arabian mares currently in production, 6 Arabian race prospects, and their newly acquired herd sire Virgule Al Maury who will spend winters at the ranch. Each year the Richards produce several foals, and have two that will go to the track in Texas this fall.

Lone Chimney Ranch is a hands-on operation. The Richards work closely with well respected members of the Arabian racing community including Michelle Morgan of Mandolynn Hill Farm (where Virgule will stand for breeding seasons), and Denise Gault of Race Street Management Inc. Helen Shelley is trainer of choice for Lone Chimney Ranch racehorses and prospects.
